Duties and Responsibilities

Position Overview:

  1. The Team Lead – Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and managing a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with a focus on billing software solutions. This individual will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  1. Hire, Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  2. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s product knowledge and sales skills.
  3. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the customer base.
  3. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry developments.

Customer Relationship Management:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  2. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  3. Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure seamless post-sales support.
  4. Sales Performance Monitoring:
  5. Track and analyse sales performance metrics to assess team and individual effectiveness.
  6. Implement corrective measures and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.

Reporting and Documentation:

  1. Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, performance, and forecasts.
  2. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in sales, with a focus on billing software solutions (experience in billing software sales is a strong advantage).
  2. Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a sales team.
  3. Strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
